MERCEDES-BENZ CONTINUES AS OFFICIAL VEHICLE OF the FRYS.COM OPEN 

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Mercedes-Benz has recently committed to continue as the “Official Vehicle” of the 2009 Frys.com Open.  As the exclusive automobile sponsor, Mercedes-Benz will provide courtesy vehicles throughout tournament week for use by the PGA TOUR professionals competing in the event, which takes place Oct. 21 - 25, at Grayhawk Golf Club  in

Scottsdale.  After the tournament, these vehicles will be available for purchase at the local Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the Valley.“Mercedes-Benz was a key supporter of the Frys.com Open last year and we are happy to have them on board again in 2009,” said Frys.com Open Tournament Director Scott Reid.Mercedes-Benz also will sponsor a special on-course event for the competing players, the “Mercedes-Benz Hole-in-One” contest, which will take place on the 211-yard, par-3 16th hole.  The first player to record an ace on 16 during the third or fourth round of the tournament will win a brand new Mercedes-Benz E350 Sedan.“Mercedes-Benz is a big supporter of PGA TOUR golf and we are excited to be a part of the Frys.com Open again this year,” said Mike Weeks, Western Region Market Manager for
